We are seeking an experienced Head of Maths to join our team at a prestigious K-12 International School in Nanjing, starting in August 2026.

Location: Nanjing, China

Curriculum: British A-Level and IG

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

• Develop and implement an engaging, student-centered curriculum for Maths from KS3 to A-Level.

• Engage with internal stakeholders, promoting the department and fostering collaboration within the school community.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to Maths teachers, guiding professional development.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons while monitoring students’ academic progress.

• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Head of School or Head of Department.

Requirements:

• Degree in Maths or a related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

• At least 2 years of related teaching experience, with knowledge of the British A-Level and IG curriculum.

• Proven leadership experience, ideally in a Head of Department (HOD) role.

• Ability to create a positive classroom culture and inspire student engagement.

Salary & Benefits:

• 27,000 – 36,000 RMB per month (before tax), based on experience and qualifications.
