Economics Teacher – K-12 International School, Nanjing (August 2026)

A well-established K-12 International School in Nanjing is hiring an Economics Teacher to join the team in August 2026.

Location: Nanjing, China

Curriculum: British A-Level and IG

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Economics to students at various levels, from KS3 through to A-Level.

  • Design and implement engaging lessons that help students develop a strong understanding of economics.

  • Prepare and assess coursework and exams, providing constructive feedback to students.

  • Actively engage with the school community and work collaboratively with colleagues.

  • Take part in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics or a related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, with knowledge of the British A-Level and IG curriculum.

  • Ability to engage students and inspire interest in economics.

Salary & Benefits:

  • 27,000 – 36,000 RMB per month (before tax), based on experience and qualifications.
