We are looking for an experienced Head of English to lead the English department at a prestigious K-12 International School in Nanjing, starting in August 2026.

Location: Nanjing, China

Curriculum: British A-Level and IG

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the English department and manage the curriculum across all Key Stages.

• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning.

• Provide leadership and mentorship to English teachers, ensuring high standards of education.

• Work closely with parents and students to improve academic progress.

• Lead departmental meetings and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in English or related field, with a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

• At least 2 years of related teaching experience, and previous experience as a Head of Department (HOD) is required.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Expertise in the British A-Level and IG curriculum.

Salary & Benefits:

• 27,000 – 36,000 RMB per month (before tax), based on experience and qualifications.
