We are seeking an experienced Head of Mathematics to lead the department at a reputable K-12 International School in Nanjing, commencing August 2026. This leadership role suits an educator with strong curriculum expertise and a collaborative management style.

Position Overview

• Location: Nanjing, China

• Start Date: August 2026

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 08:00–17:00

• Curriculum: British IGCSE / A Level

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Mathematics department

• Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality, and assessment

• Mentor and support Mathematics teachers

• Drive student achievement and positive learning culture

• Engage with parents and the wider school community

• Contribute to whole-school initiatives and strategic development

• Undertake duties assigned by the Head of School

Requirements

• Native English speaker

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics or a related field

• PGCE / QTS / other national teaching license (mandatory)

• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience (leadership experience preferred)

• Strong knowledge of IGCSE and A Level curricula

• Proven ability to lead teams and innovate teaching practice

Salary & Benefits

• RMB 27,000 – 36,000/month (before tax), subject to experience and qualifications
