Middle School English Teacher Start in August Shenzhen

Location: Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China
Start Date: 2026 School Year

An international school in Nanshan District, Shenzhen is seeking a qualified Middle School English Teacher to join its academic team. Candidates with British curriculum experience and HOD experience will be preferred.

Schedule & Workload

  • Monday – Friday

  • 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

  • 21 teaching periods per week (40 minutes per period)

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly salary: 25,000 – 35,000 RMB before tax

  • Housing allowance: 8,000 RMB/month

  • Salary package for management roles depends on qualifications

  • Insurance provided (Medical, Dental, Life, and Disability)

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject area

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Demonstrate strong English language proficiency

  • Have at least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a project-based learning environment or independent school

  • Participate actively in professional learning communities and collaborative planning

  • Hold a valid teaching license or certification
