Position: MYP Mathematics Teacher

A leading IB bilingual school in Guangzhou is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable MYP Mathematics Teacher to join its growing Middle Years Programme (MYP) team. The school is looking for an educator who is confident in delivering the IB MYP Mathematics curriculum using approved IB-aligned textbooks and inquiry-based teaching practices.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across MYP grade levels, supporting students’ conceptual understanding, problem-solving abilities, and mathematical thinking in alignment with IB philosophy and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Native English speaker

• Experience teaching IB MYP Mathematics (preferred)

• Strong understanding of IB MYP framework, assessment criteria, and practices

• Confident use of IB-aligned mathematics textbooks and digital learning platforms

• Ability to design engaging lessons that promote inquiry, reasoning, and real-world application

• Enthusiastic, reflective, and supportive teaching approach for students aged 11–16

• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to a bilingual school environment
