Position: MYP Middle School PE Teacher

A well-established bilingual international K12 school in Haikou, Hainan is seeking an experienced and energetic MYP Physical Education Teacher to join its middle school team. The successful candidate should be able to teach a wide range of sports (e.g., basketball, football, general fitness) and confidently organize school-wide sports activities such as sports meets.

Role: Middle School PE Teacher (MYP)
Location: Qiongshan District, Haikou, Hainan
Student Level: Middle School
Start: August 2026
Key Responsibilities
Teach a variety of physical education classes, including team sports and fitness
Plan and organize sports events and school athletic activities
Assign appropriate homework and provide timely feedback
Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to weaker students
Prepare periodic academic and developmental reports
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
Participate actively in extracurricular activities
Maintain accurate and efficient student records, integrating formative assessment into weekly and semester planning
Fulfill school duties, including:
1 CCA (Co-curricular Activity) per week
1 EE per week
1 Evening Prep duty per week
1 Weekend duty per term
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Physical Education or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Teaching license preferred
Strong classroom and student management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a bilingual school environment
Meet all requirements for obtaining a legal work visa in China
Salary & Benefits
Monthly salary: RMB 25,000 – 35,000 (before tax, negotiable based on experience)
