Qingdao, China – AP Physics & Math Teacher (AP Physics, Physics, AP Precalculus) – Start August 2026

A private high school in Qingdao, China is seeking a qualified AP Physics and Math Teacher for the August 2026 academic year. The successful candidate will teach AP Physics, Physics, and AP Precalculus and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes in a rigorous high school program.

Responsibilities

  • Approximately 195 working days per school year

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Prepare lesson plans and complete all teaching-related tasks in a timely manner

  • Use the student management system to assign homework, grade assignments, and record scores

  • Manage students’ evening self-study sessions (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM) according to school arrangements

  • Organize or participate in student events and school activities, including Open House

  • Teach 5 periods per day, covering 3–4 courses per semester

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field (or subject degree with PGCE)

  • American teaching certificate and high school teaching experience preferred

  • TEFL / TESOL, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent certification

  • American state teaching license or equivalent credential preferred

  • Minimum two years of teaching experience

  • Strong subject knowledge in physics and mathematics

  • Native English speaker

  • Consul-authenticated Non-Criminal Record
