Position Overview

The Head of Commerce will lead the delivery and development of IGCSE and A-Level Business, Economics, and related subjects, while overseeing curriculum quality, teacher support, and student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Commerce department (Business/Economics)

  • Teach IGCSE and A-Level Commerce subjects

  • Ensure curriculum alignment with international examination standards

  • Support university guidance related to business and economics pathways

  • Mentor teachers and contribute to whole-school academic strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Economics, or related field

  • Teaching qualification and department leadership experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of IGCSE and A-Level Commerce curricula

  • Proven leadership, communication, and curriculum planning skills

Salary & Benefits (Applicable to All Positions)

  • Monthly salary: RMB 25,000–35,000 (before tax), based on experience and role
